Ian Hunter (of Mott The Hoople) is still touring – he’s nearly as old as my Mum 🙂

Billy Mitchell and Ray Laidlaw continue to present the The Lindisfarne Story around the UK. http://www.lindisfarnestory.co.uk

Eartweaser Clues:

This band is a success story that began when two of the original gEarTweaser2roup left the band Wainwrights Gentlemen in 1968 to form their own band. They were joined by Steve Priest on bass and finally Andy Scott. The band with its successful line-up was complete in 1970.
In 1974 The Who invited this group to play on the legendary Charlton Athletic gig but unfortunately the lead singer was involved in a nasty attack outside a nightclub and sustained injuries to his throat.
The US discovered them in 1975
Albums include: Give Us A Wink, Cut Above The Rest and Identity Crisis

I remember them best for their platform shoes and smooth good looks. It was a time of Glam Rock 🙂
