Kicking off this week’s show with a track first made famous by Andy Williams back in 1963 !   —   I played the Beat’s 1983 version 🙂

***************

I was feeling very guilty as I’d had a dream in which a friend had an accident on a skateboard (what she was doing with a skateboard in the first place, I’ll never know). She did a back flip and landed on her head – I’d meant to ask her the next day if she woke up with a headache but forgot all about it until recording the show.

Did you know that the song ‘Sylvia’s Mother’ is actually based on a true story, with only a name change – how sad 🙁
