\nIn 1984, they won the Brit Award for Best British Group, the Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and Best British Single. They were nominated the same year for the Grammy Award for Pop Vocal by Group or Duo but the were beaten byThe Police<\/p>\n

In the UK they amassed twelve Top 40 hit singles between 1982\u20131999.
\nOne of our ET tracks being the biggest selling single of 1983.<\/p>\n

The lead singer occasionally sang with the group Bow Wow Wow under the stage name Lieutenant Lush<\/p>\n
